My baby is the big now and to celebrate grandma Jean and I took him out to breakfast. Since the big kids were in school and little ones weren't here yet it was a perfect opportunity. He was so excited! He really enjoyed learning to hold the door open everyone, especially the girls, because thats what gentlemen do. I can tell he enjoyed it because he pointed it out eveytime he watched someone do it through the window lol. His favorite part, picking out a green lollypop on our way for being such a good boy in the restaurant!

Today was a little hard on the heart, it was my Carters last full time day with me, as he is going to be starting starting school. Although he may be ready, I am not ready to let go. This is truely one of the hardest parts of my job and it never gets any easier. 5 days a week for almost 4yrs, hes a huge part of my life. I can remember the day I met him and his mom & dad like it was yesterday, and I am so blessed and honored that they chose me to be the one to care for, love on and teach him while they went to work and do what they needed to. Thank you so much Lauren Pollack & Brian Catterall for trusting me with your prize possession! Very thankful we are forever family!! First day vs last full time day

When the baby is getting picked up early so you figure why bother putting his bed up. This is one of my absolute favorite parts of daycare!
