Introducing Christine Wittel, our new PreK teacher here at Pollywogs Child Development Center. Christine earned her Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's Degree of Arts and Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. Christine has experience as a Prek and Resource
Teacher.

Christine showcases a classroom alive with creativity. Christine is a wife, mother, curriculum designer and educational consultant. In her free time, she explores museums, hiking and enrichment activities with her family.

Introducing Jess! With over 12 years of childcare experience, she creates enriching environments that nurture babies' natural curiosity, healthy development and energy. Jess is dedicated to caring for infants and is well-loved by them in return. Excitingly, she is expecting her first child in January. Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her nieces and nephews, and of course her cats and dogs.

Meet Aimée, a lifelong resident of Connecticut and a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned her BA in Women's Studies and Anthropology with Honors. After working in Women's healthcare, she embraced the role of a home schooling mom, blending her passion for nature education, local history and organic farming. Aimée has a small flower farm and offers garden consultation and continues exploring the wonders of flowers, particularly Dahlias. Residing in Preston with her large family, she cherishes the beauty of each season while nurturing their beloved property.

Aimée brings her passion for plants and gardening to our preschool program, providing personalized attention to each child. From April to October, she guides them through the entire gardening process, nurturing their understanding from seed planting to harvest. This hands-on experience not only fosters a love for nature but also encourages teamwork and responsibility among the little ones. Join us in cultivating a green thumb and a sense of wonder in our young gardeners!

So grateful for all of my teachers! Today, I'd like to introduce Lily, who has been at Pollywogs for 3 years, creating an engaging and supportive environment for our students. Lily is a Junior at the University of Rhode where she is pursuing her Bachelor's in Elementary Education and her Master's in Special Education. When not at work or school, Lily will be snuggling with her two cats, Buddy and Hershey. Lily is an avid reader and enjoys her free time getting involved in a good book!
