Unity Ball

Unity Ball The Unity Ball is a free prom for all that participate in Special Olympics Unified Sports across Rho We are currently planning the 2015 Unity Ball.

Our names are Megan Lefebvre and Cassandra Cavallaro and we are seniors at North Smithfield High School. We are currently working on my senior project and were wondering if you would be interested in assisting us. The ball is a completely free dance that is run for special needs high school students from the entirety of RI who participate in Unified Sports. This dance is being held March 20 at the

West Valley Inn in West Warwick. Over 400 students are expected to attend. The unified sports program was established a few years ago by the Special Olympics. These programs allow special needs students to compete for their school with the assistance of regular education students. Thirty-five high schools across the state of RI have Unified Sports teams. In order for this dance to be possible, we need the help of the community, and businesses. In order for everyone to attend this dance for free we need to raise about $13,000, so we really need all the help we can get!
