My name is Ashley Verdoorn and I run Here we grow Daycare. I accept children from ages 6 weeks to school age kids. I offer a daily rate with a minimum of 4 days payment for full time and part time. A look into our day consists of children being dropped off, breakfast, play time(outside depending on weather), circle time(ABC's, 123's, stories, children's songs), snack, color, play time(outside depe
nding on weather), lunch, nap, snack, play time(outside depending on weather), pick up.Through all the training's I have taken in the 12 years of running my in home daycare, and the 8 years of working in daycare centers, I have learned young children learn best through play and experience under supervision. While running my in-home daycare in Sioux city I was registered with the state of Iowa, CPR, First Aid certified, on the food program,and two stars on the QRS certification. I am registered with the state of South Dakota, as well as on the food program. Such a bittersweet moment. I take pride in my job, and love all the children who walk through my door equally.
