What a wild and crazy ride it’s been!! I am beyond blessed to have been a part of this amazing program from the beginning. Every year we say it can’t get better than this and it does!! The hundreds of students who have participated in Unified since we started in 2011 have taught me more than I could ever imagine teaching them. Their selflessness, confidence and bravery inspires me daily. I want each and every athlete to know how very proud I am of them, how much I love them and how grateful I am to have been their coach. There have been so many adventures with these teams… wins, losses, State Championships, tons of pizza, a gazillion laughs, a few tears, but most importantly there has been fun, friendship and team spirit like no other. To my fellow coaches, Beth Keeling, Jen Paolantonio, Amy Delsignore, Martha McConnell, Jenna Farina, Jen Nardelli, Kyle Fraatz, Haileigh Gattenella and Gary Martinelli, thank you for sharing the courts with me, I’d have been lost without you all. I love you!! Tom Marcello & Jake Keeling thank you for always supporting our program and putting up with me!! To all of our Unified Families, thank you for sharing your children with us. You’re raising (have raised) some absolutely amazing humans!! While coaching is no longer an option for me, please know I always have been and will continue to be one of your biggest fans. I’m not going far, just to the other side of the gym. Thank you for my beautiful flowers and yes, I did cry when they were delivered today. Love you all, Coach Cheryl

Since I won’t have to opportunity to coach for one more middle school season, I would be remiss to not thank Kristina Hogan and Sue Menard for the opportunity to coach with them since my move to the middle school as well. We were lucky to get these amazing kiddos at the beginning and I was lucky enough to see some play from grades 6-12. Truly blessed💚🤍
