💙 BOOSTER CLUB 101: Why We Use Zeffy!

Here’s one of our favorite numbers: 0%. 🙌

Zeffy charges the Booster Club ZERO platform fees, which means we keep 100% of the donations raised for our student-athletes!

But it’s about more than saving money. Using one centralized platform gives us better tracking and transparency while reducing the amount of cash being passed between players, parents and volunteers. That protects everyone and keeps our fundraising accountable.

We’ve already successfully used Zeffy for car washes, calendar raffles, product sales, donation campaigns and more—and this year, we’ll be training our team parents so even more of our fundraising can run through the platform.

More transparency. Less risk. More money staying with our Spartans. 💙🤍🖤

📣 BOOSTER CLUB 101: What are we fundraising for?

Fundraising plays a HUGE role in what we’re able to provide for our student-athletes—but Booster funds are meant to supplement the school’s athletic budget, not replace it. 💙

Team bonding, special events, travel and those extras that make the student-athlete experience even better? That’s where fundraising can make a big difference!

Uniforms and standard equipment are typically the responsibility of the school. If a team wants to fundraise for those items, we’ll simply check in with the Athletic Director first to make sure we’re all working together.

Our goal is simple: make every dollar our families and community raise have the biggest possible impact on our student-athletes. 💙🤍🖤

We LOVE seeing our teams come up with creative ways to raise funds and give our student-athletes some amazing opportunities! 🙌

Just a friendly reminder that all athletic fundraisers need Booster Club approval before getting started. Since the Boosters are fiscally responsible for athletic fundraising, this little step helps us keep everything organized, transparent, and running smoothly.

⚽️ SPARTAN GIRLS SOCCER IS BACK! 💙🤍

The Scituate Spartans hosted Chariho yesterday for a preseason scrimmage, battling all the way to a 0–1 finish.

The scoreboard may not have gone our way, but these girls worked their tails off from start to finish. 💪⚽️ A great opportunity to get game-speed reps, work together, and keep building as we head toward the regular season.

We’re excited to see what this group does this fall!

📚💙 **Tomorrow is the day, Spartans!**

The 2026–2027 school year officially begins tomorrow! A few reminders from Mr. Hassell: check PowerSchool for your most up-to-date schedule, doors open at **7:20 AM**, and students should be in **Period 7 by 7:45 AM**.

Here at the Scituate Booster Club, we’re proud to support our **STUDENT athletes** — and there’s a reason *student* comes first. 💙🏈⚽️🏐📣🏃‍♀️🏀⚾️🥍🎾🤼

Work hard in the classroom, work hard on the field, court, mat and track, and make this year one to remember.

Caito was bustling with activity yesterday, and it was so exciting to see! 💙🤍

🏈 Football took the field first, followed by ⚽ soccer and 📣 cheer — and one thing was clear: our Spartan teams have some incredible rosters this year! Seeing so many student-athletes out there getting ready for the season was amazing.

We also held our first Booster Club meeting of the 2026–27 school year, and the turnout was fantastic! Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, shared ideas, and learned a little more about what the Boosters do.

We covered a lot, including:
• Upcoming Art Festival & Homecoming games
• Concessions
• What the Boosters do and how we support our student-athletes
• Ways YOU can get involved
• Upcoming fundraisers
• Board positions that will become vacant at the end of this season

There are so many exciting things ahead for our Spartans this year, and we’d love to have even more families and community members involved.
