Richardson Elementary PTA We are a group of parents, guardians, teachers & staff members who meet every month to talk about what we can do to support our children(s) school

Richardson Elementary PTA is a group of parents, guardians, and staff members who meet every month to talk about what's new at Richardson and how we can help support the school, staff, and students. At our meetings, we hear from Principal Melissa Houde with an update on events and topics important to school. We may also hear from a staff member or teachers about their role at school. We discuss the PTA budget which is used to fund field trips, help teachers with classroom needs, pay for enrichment programs during school and send kids to unique learning experiences like SAIL, Comet, and Young Authors. We also plan and staff some family/fundraising events throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!

Walk, Bike & Roll to school event on October 7
This will be a great opportunity to get outside, get some exercise and come together as a school community. As we plan for this event, it will support us to know how many families are participating and where they plan to walk/roll to and from that day so we can have additional staff on corners in as many of those areas as possible. Please fill out the form below if you are considering joining in this event.

Please note, this is a family activity so if participating please plan to walk/roll to and from school with your children (especially if they do not usually walk/bike from home to school - even if they do, we encourage you go join them that day).
