What a special day for our first graders! 💙💛

One of our favorite Saint Albert the Great traditions returned as our first graders welcomed their grandparents and special loved ones to school for Grandparents' Day. Together, they created crafts, shared activities, and took a tour of the school, where our students proudly showed off their classroom, desk, and locker.

The morning was a wonderful celebration of family, faith, and the special people who help our students grow. Thank you to all of our special guests for spending the day with us and helping make this tradition one our first graders will always treasure.

These 8th graders learned about Edvard Grieg’s famous ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’ before trying their hand at performing the iconic motif themselves. What a fun way to experience a classic piece of music while building new skills!

In honor of all those who helped others on September 11th, our 6th graders completed an Act of Kindness Project in Social Studies. They got creative in the ways they chose to help others, and we loved seeing their smiles as they shared their experiences!

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was changed forever.

Today, we have the privilege and responsibility to teach our students not only what happened that morning, but also what followed—the courage of ordinary people, the selfless sacrifice of first responders, and the strength that comes from standing together.

As the Saint Albert the Great community, we pause to remember those who lost their lives and lift their families in prayer. May we inspire our students to be people of faith, compassion, and hope, carrying Christ's light into a world that still longs for peace.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

This week, we welcomed our preschoolers with bubbles, laughter, and lots of excitement as they took their very first steps into a new school year.

It was a joy to watch them explore, make new friends, and begin learning the ropes. We can't wait to see all the ways they'll learn, grow, and discover God's love this year. Welcome to the SATG family!
