Thank you to these two amazing teachers, Mallory and Hannah for being my other half, for coming to work everyday and giving all of yourselves. Some days weren't easy, but you two helped Little Angels grow into what it was. Without you I couldn't have done it. Both of you are an extension of our family we and love you dearly. Thank you just isn't enough, I'll be forever grateful for you both.

To my husband, the sacrifices you made to allow this business to grow are far too many to list. Your patience, guidance, trust, help (all the help) and your shoulder to cry on when days were rough is something not all men would do. Being the parent at every doctor and dentist appointment, every school event, every practice because I couldn't be there. The parent who drove them to and from preschool and school everyday because I couldn't, the parent who called off or worked worked home when things got crazy, you have always gone above and beyond to support me and I'll never be able to thank you enough.

Lastly, to my children, I have loved being here with you as you've grown into strong independent elementary students and I'm blessed you'll be able to join me on my next adventure. Thank you for sharing your home, your bedrooms, your toys and your Mom with so many other children. It hasn't always been easy but you have learned so much. While the three of you may fight like cats and dogs, all 3 of you have learned the meaning of being gentle and patient with littles ones. You have helped clean, sort, organize and reset the daycare countless times even though it wasn't you who made the mess. I can't wait to see how our home changes and I'm happy to see the three of you turn to a new chapter in your story. Mommy loves you !

Today is the Last Day of the Little Angels Program. Exactly 8 years ago I left my job in Daycare Center Administration to pursue what I thought would be a small adventure, just 4 or 5 kids and the ability to be home with my own while they were little. What started out as a small turned into a business so successful sometimes it left my head spinning. The addition of my amazing coteachers allowed me the ability to grow and fill my home with little smiles, giggles, cuddles and milestones. A full roster of 12 children everyday, a waiting list a mile long, this endeavor turned into so much more than I could have ever dreamed up.

Believe it or not each and every child who has walked through these doors have a place in my heart. Just shy of 60 children have come through these doors, we've been blessed to witness countless children learn to crawl, take first steps, dine on their first "big kid" meal, learn to climb up and down stairs, to throw a ball, to go down a slide all on their own. Many of these firsts I remember vividly as I see photos of them posted as venturing off to Kindergarten or higher I think to myself, gosh I remember when he/she rolled over for the first time, when they learned to blow kisses and wave goodbye.

Thank you to each and every set of parents who entrusted us with your children, your most precious gift. Your trust and support mean more than you know. Thank you for sharing your social media with us so that we have the ability to continue to watch your children grow after we have to let them go. It's a hard thing to do again and again and the ability to check up on them and watch their progress makes it hurt a little less when they move on.

Attached to this post you'll see 55 children (in no particular order. I wasn't able to secure photos for two)of the 57 children who are a part of our hearts here at Little Angels. To all of those children who have touched my heart and my home; I love each and everyone of you!

I have a pretty big announcement to make although I cannot share all of the details just yet. Many of you knew the Little Angels program would be coming to an end this summer. I have officially accepted a position as a Center Director for a local Child Care Center nearby and I am very excited for this new adventure. Little Angels will close its doors on June 11, 2021.

To the families who have have part of this incredible 7.5 year journey, Thank you ! Thank you for trusting us, for having faith in us and for sharing your family with ours. I truly am so grateful for every child who has gone through my program, all 58 of them ! I know crazy right ? 58 children! Each and every one have touched my heart in some way and helped shape me as a teacher and an administrator.

I cannot yet share the company I'll be joining, but I will be able to do so in a few weeks so stay tuned for updates !

I'll leave you with this quote by my favorite human being, as it rings very true that yes, I may have created the physical daycare space but you all made my dream a reality.

Anyone looking for PK (age 4 by Sept 30) or K-8 for next year I strongly suggest looking into St Peter's! You know Tim and I love it there and we have a few past daycare families thay have now joined the St Pete's family as well. Spots for PK and K especially fill up really quickly and I mean REALLY quickly so if this is something you are considering I strongly suggest you act now.
Tuition is 3500/year for 5 days a week 8a-220p ! They also offer before and after care for an additional fee. Keep in mind PK kiddos are not old enough to use city school bus transport. That starts in kindergarten.

Also if you would be so kind as to use me as a reference if you do enroll I would be forever grateful ;)

* special note- those of you who attended PK this year make sure to lock in your K spots asap if you haven't done so already. I know of families in the past that have lost their spot assuming they had one automatically held, it doesn't work that way so be sure to get that locked in this week.
