The Ohio History Hunter Research Teams shirts arrived today. These are for the Kelleys Island project where the team and I will be disassembling the Kelleys Island 1800s-era Jail Cell, moving it to the Museum and resembling it for public viewing and photo ops.
Should we sale these shirts to the public, all profits will go to the Kelleys Island Historical Society Museum as a donation from the OHH team.

The design for this Falls, Kelleys Island, Community Project, ( T-SHIRTS ) where the team and I will disassemble the 1800s-era jail, move it to the Museum and then reassemble the jail inside the Kelleys Island History Museum. The team and I have been asked to take on the task of disassembling, moving and resembling the Kelleys Island 1800s-era Jail Cell. Some of the best moments on the road are the ones you never see coming.

At the Port Clinton Pirate Festival, we had the opportunity to meet Scott from Ohio History Hunter and his incredible team. We thought we were just stopping by to learn a little about metal detecting...

Instead, Scott spent time teaching Dean how to use a detector, explaining how history is hiding just beneath our feet if you're willing to slow down and look.

Watching Dean's curiosity grow with every beep was amazing.

Then Scott did something that completely caught us off guard.

He gifted Dean and Gertie their very own metal detector.

I'm not going to lie... I cried.

It wasn't just the gift—it was the kindness behind it. Scott didn't just hand them a metal detector. He handed them a new adventure, a new hobby, and another way to explore the places we travel.

Dean has been talking about all the places he wants to search ever since, and Gertie is already convinced she's going to find pirate treasure. ❤️

Scott, thank you for your generosity, your passion for history, and for taking the time to invest in our kids. Moments like this are why we love this community.

We can't wait to see where this new adventure takes us.
