What a beautiful post by Catholic Schools - Diocese of Fort Worth ! Please feel free to share your memories on this original post with photos, if you'd like, and allow us to pray for them by name. May the Lord also bless the family of Dario Lorenzetti and may the Holy Spirit offer comfort to those who remember their own loved ones today.
Today, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation. πΊπΈ We especially remember Dario Lorenzetti, a graduate of Nolan Catholic High School and the United States Military Academy at West Point, who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.
Darioβs life reflects the very heart of Catholic education - faith, courage, discipline, and a call to serve something greater than oneself. His legacy continues to inspire a new generation of students who are striving to lead with honor and give generously of themselves.
As we pray for all the fallen this Memorial Day, may we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we carry forward lives marked by faith and servant leadership.
βBlessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.β β Matthew 5:9
We invite you to share a photo or story of someone you would like to honor in the comments. Let us remember them by name and lift them up in prayer. π
Please join us in praying for all who have given their lives, and for their families who continue to carry their memory with love and sacrifice.

Please join us in a prayer on this Memorial Day. "No one has greater love than this, to lay down oneβs life for oneβs friends." (John 15:13)
God of power and mercy,
you destroy war and put down earthly pride.
Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears,
that we may all deserve to be called your sons and daughters.
Keep in your mercy those men and women who have died in the cause of freedom and bring them safely into your kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Happy belated birthday to our amazing Mrs. Bosillo, our teacher of the year, leader of school spirit, and the bringer of all things "fun" with learning. Thank you for all the ways you show up for students, staff, and parents alike, always spreading the joy and love of Jesus wherever you go! We are so blessed you are instructing our young ones and sharing so much of yourself with our community. We pray God's blessings on you always!
Pictured here is an unwavering commitment to our students in the form of Mrs. Bosillo and Mrs. Flores getting pied in the face today as a result of the Spirit Squad fundraiser. π

Happy birthday to Mr. Layman! You give the students such a profound understanding and appreciation for the world of science and how everything fits together. And you hold our Chess elective, which has made students even sharper! We pray this is a wonderful, blessing-filled year for you and are so grateful for you here at SJS!

This Sunday, our SJS students are proudly helping distribute the Catholic Diocese Impact Reports after each Mass. These reports share the impact of Catholic education across our Diocese, including information about tuition assistance, the schools and opportunities available to families, and the many ways our Catholic community supports the mission of forming students in faith and learning. We are grateful for the opportunity for our students to serve and take part in supporting the mission of Catholic education. βοΈπ¦

What a beautiful and joy-filled morning at SJS! ππ€ We gathered together for a special surprise bridal shower celebration for Sister Mary Grace as she prepares for her final vows and her beautiful vocation as a Bride of Christ. With music, smiles, cards, flowers, and so much love, our school community had the opportunity to celebrate this joyful step in her faith journey and surround her with our prayers.
We also took time to honor and pin our faculty members Mrs. Catherine Hernandez, Mrs. Joanie Ruppel, and Sr. Mary Grace who will be leaving us after this school year. We celebrate the countless lives they have touched through their years of service, dedication, and love. Today was filled with gratitude, joy, and reminders of the many ways God calls each of us to serve. Thank you to everyone who helped make this morning so special. βοΈπ

Yesterday we welcomed back many alumni and former teachers for our Senior Walk as our former St. John the Apostle Catholic School students prepare to graduate from high school! ππ€
It was such a joy to see familiar faces back in our halls and celebrate the faith, friendships, and memories that continue long after their time at SJS. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! π¦
