Keep those brains shining bright this summer. Encourage your child to:
1. Read for 20 minutes each day
2. Write a letter or story
3. Practice math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
A little practice each day helps students return to school confident and ready to learn. Read. Write. Count. Repeat.

Our 8th grade students from Keller K8, Saginaw K8 and NRH PK8 left this morning on the annual U.S. Road Scholar trip organized by the Student Activities Department. This nine day tour will take our students to Washington D.C. to visit museums and monuments. So for all rising 8th grade students, this is an incredible life changing opportunity to be part of this field trip next year.

We Hear You: Transportation Matters
At ILTexas, we understand that safe, reliable transportation is important to our students and families. That is why we provide targeted transportation services designed to support student access to our campuses.
We have heard your feedback and are actively evaluating opportunities to expand and enhance transportation options in select areas. As we assess future transportation needs, we encourage families to communicate directly with their campus regarding transportation interests and challenges. Your feedback helps us better understand community needs and informs future transportation planning.
While no decisions have been finalized, our team is carefully reviewing enrollment patterns, family input, and operational considerations to determine where additional support may have the greatest impact.
If transportation is an important factor in your family's enrollment decision, please contact your campus directly or email [email protected] to learn more about current transportation options and how potential future enhancements could impact your student's ability to attend ILTexas.

Others Before Self and Servant Leadership
Folks, there are so many supporting values that are foundational to the ideas that went into the creation of International Leadership Of Texas and into our leadership traits of servant leadership, and the concept of “others before self”. For me personally, recalling part of a letter in a very old book of 2000 years ago that specifically talks about, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Also reflecting on Memorial Day and what it means and especially what it means to those of us who have led others into combat I came across this reflection from a fellow combat Marine veteran and he says in words how most of us veterans feel and frankly struggle with the Memorial Day weekend. Please take a look at this article, and please reflect on how each of us could find more ways to be examples of servant leadership and in putting others before self. With the greatest of respect for each of you. - Eddie Conger

We are proud to recognize two outstanding educators who have led their students to an incredible accomplishment.
Two 8th grade teachers, Willie Clayborne and Stacy Howell, achieved 100% of their students passing the STAAR English I and Algebra I end of course exams this school year. This is an incredible achievement and it is a testament to their work ethic, strong instruction, high expectations, and an unwavering belief in every student.
In addition, both teachers have been awarded this year the designation of "Master Teacher," the highest level of teacher effectiveness recognized by the state of Texas. These two teachers are in the top 5% of all teachers in the state of Texas.
Congratulations to two amazing and accomplished teachers at NRH who continue to raise the bar for excellence.

The 2025-2026 NRH teachers and staff came together one last time to celebrate and recognize one another and to thank two educators who are retiring at the end of the school year. Through tears and laughter, we shared what Brian Myers and Latanya Burnett have meant to our students and staff. Thank you to every teacher and staff member who contributed to the success of our students and to one another. You are leaving a legacy and changing lives!! !
