I thought I deleted this page, but I keep getting notifications that folks are viewing this page. Since, I'm not in the classroom anymore, I will contemplate ways to use this social platform.

Thursday, September 10th is Meet the Teacher Night at North Ridge Middle. This event is come and go from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Hope to see you there!

Hey there! Just a reminder to study for the vocabulary quiz on Friday and finish Point of View Glasses for homework tonight. They are due tomorrow! See you in the morning!

Ok. It's been "a minute." I have been grading and will post those grades to Skyward tomorrow. Let me know when you have questions or need information not yet provided. Enjoy the long weekend!

Grading as we speak. Check Skyward or your e-mail in the morning for the latest in grades. Send your student to tutorials in the morning with your questions. No after school tutorials for me tomorrow.

No tutorials in the morning or afternoon. Students can still stop by the computer lab or library to research in the morning. There will be an adult on duty. As for redoes and make-up work, we will work on that after our test. Finally, tomorrow is the last class dedicated time to work on research or Power Point.

Research project due Thursday. We spent both class periods finishing the research. We will spend both class periods tomorrow starting and hopefully finishing the Power Points. There is someone in the library before and after school where students have supervised access to the books and internet resources.

Research Project Deadline Moved: Stay tuned for the actual date. Also the grading period closes on Friday, January 18th at 4:00 PM. I NEED all zeroes, redoes and missing assignments finished by 5PM Wednesday! I'll be back with update! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Tutorials will be held in the morning beginning at 8:00 AM. I will also be there after school until 5 PM. The grade book will be current at 10:15 if you want to check Skyward. Thanks for all you do.

Today we read from our blue literature books and discussed sensory language, imagery, and style. See if your kiddo and explain any of this to you!

Looking forward to a room full for tutorials in the morning. I have plans to post tonight and redo grades to put in the grade book. Please be patient, but continue with the gentle nudges and reminders if you need to.

Grades are posted to Skyward. Grades reflect learning. I want all students to achieve at a high level. If their grades have you worried, send them to tutorials Monday -Thursday of the coming week, morning or afternoon. We are entering the 5th week of the six weeks and there is still time to recover.
