🎭 It's lottery day!

Tune in LIVE today at 4 PM as Broadway Dallas HSMTA announces the schools selected to participate in the 2026 HSMTA season.

After registration spots filled in just 8 minutes last year, Broadway Dallas HSMTA introduced a new lottery process for General Registration schools. Schools that submitted an Intent to Participate form by the August 24 deadline have been entered into today's drawing, with selected schools earning the opportunity to participate in the 2026 season.

Schools not selected in the lottery will automatically be added to the waitlist and will be notified if participation space becomes available.

Hi StageHawks Alumni!!

It’s Mr. McLaughlin and I have a request.

We are on the lookout for a copy of Slave of Duty. Mr. Williamson and I realized we don’t have a copy at Birdville or anywhere digitally. Since the playwright, former Richland HS director Jerry Ayers recently passed away, there is a risk of this play being lost unless we can find a copy.

Does any former cast or crew member of Birdville’s recent production of the show still have their copy of the script? If I could get a copy scanned into my drive I can make sure it doesn’t get lost!
