Join us June 15–18 from 6:00–9:00 PM at Smithfield Methodist Church as we journey through the rainforest and explore the nature of God through exciting Bible stories, games, crafts, music, science activities, and so much more!

Pre-K Graduation Day. 🎓💙

One of our favorite traditions at Discovery School! Watching these sweet children walk across the stage with proud smiles and big dreams reminds us just how special these early years are. This year has been filled with growth, laughter, learning, friendships, and so many unforgettable moments.

To our graduates: we are so proud of each and every one of you! Keep being curious, kind, brave, and full of joy. Kindergarten is lucky to have you!

And to the families, thank you for letting us be part of your children’s story. What a gift it is to watch them grow. Once a Discovery School family, always a Discovery School family! 💙

Rain or shine, Field Day fun didn’t stop! We paused for a few showers and some snow cones, then jumped right back into the action!

This week we released our classroom butterflies! 🐛🤍 🦋

Here are some of the things we learned by watching them grow:

🦋 Butterflies start as tiny eggs.
🦋 The caterpillar (larva) hatches and loves to eat leaves.
🦋 As the caterpillar grows, it sheds its skin.
🦋 The Chrysalis (cocoon) forms, where it rests and changes.
🦋 After some time, a beautiful butterfly comes out!

This week was all about celebrating the joy of childhood! 🌟

We honored the “Week of the Young Child” by exploring creativity, hands-on learning, and the amazing ways children discover the world around them. From imaginative creations to meaningful play, it was a week full of curiosity, growth, and smiles! 💛

We are so proud of all the incredible learning and creativity we saw each day!

Our preschoolers ran their hearts out today and we couldn’t be more proud! 💛

It’s Fun Run Day!!

Classroom egg hunts are always a hit! Our students had a blast hunting for eggs while practicing their number skill, such a fun way to mix learning and play.
