Dear amazing Walker Creek parents and families,

As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for your incredible support of our teachers, staff, and students this year. Because of this amazing community, we were able to raise over $9,000 at our Moon Bash event, with funds going directly back into our school through staff grants, hospitality, grade-level field trips, and so much more.

This year, together, we were able to:

*Purchase a new science curriculum for 3rd grade
*Contribute toward transportation & costs for the 5th grade trip to Sky Ranch
*Celebrate staff birthdays with special gifts
*Enrich our students’ learning by covering the cost of the Window to the Wild animal program
*Help beautify our campus during the NRH Trash Bash
*Recognize our incredible students through bi-monthly recognition awards
*Create a beautiful collection of memories through our school yearbook
*Honor our scholars through our brick program
*Support our teachers throughout the year with filling book bags, door decorations, annual Christmas pod decorations, and Moon Bash auction baskets
*Build community through Family Game Night, Art Night, spirit nights, Walk & Roll to School, and other events
*Encourage creativity through the Reflections program
*Highlight the importance of father figures on campus through Coyote Crew

Walker Creek is such a special place because of all of you and the time, energy, and resources you pour into our school community. Thank you for making this year so meaningful.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTA Board, who led initiatives and served our school in all of the above ways. It has truly been an honor to serve alongside all of you this year. Thank you to our exceptional front office staff, as well as Mrs. Dean and Ms. Autry, for your constant support and partnership in helping us give back to our school community.

And finally, a very special thank you to our social media chair, Danielle, who has managed our social media presence this year and created so many of the wonderful graphics shared on our page. Thank you, Danielle, for helping showcase all the amazing things our PTA membership can accomplish together.

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer! I can’t wait to see everyone again soon — hopefully at Sweet Frog at 12:45 this afternoon 😉

Today we provided Chipotle for our amazing teachers and NTA Taekwondo graciously donated $100 to contribute to this awesome lunch for our teachers — so huge thank you to NTA Taekwondo!
