Saint John Childcare

It’s almost a new year please let the office know of any changes to email, phone, address etc. so we can keep your child’s file updated.

Saint John’s Childcare will be CLOSED December 23rd – January 6 for Winter Break, please make plans for your child for these two weeks.

Reminder: Cold weather is here. Be sure your child has warm clothes and a jacket in their cubby. (please label all belongings).

If you placed pictures on the Day of the Dead altar at the childcare lobby, please pick them up by Nov 22nd. The center will be closed from Nov 25- 29th.

Thanks to all the families that showed up for the pie sharing that occurred Nov 19th and 20th.

Today and tomorrow ( 11/19 and 11/20) St. John's Childcare Center is having pie day for the parents. Parents are welcome to come between 11-12 to have a slice of pie with their child. This is an annual Thanksgiving events at the center.

Reminder: The Center will be closed all next week (11/25-29) for the Thanksgiving holidays.

New this year is the Celebration for the day of the dead. The center will celebrated all month of November. The displace could use more pictures if you would like to bring some of your love ones to add to those we already have.

St John's Childcare had a saint pumpkin decorating contest for all classroom in the center. Pictures of the saint pumpkins are below.

Monthly the Childcare Center has a staff highlighted for that month. This month the staff member featured is Berta. She is a big help to all the teachers daily in supporting their needs.

The St John’s Childcare Center held it annual Halloween Parade and trick a treating on Oct 30th and 31st. This is a favorite activities for the kids, staff and families.

Reminder: Time changed occurred this weekend and clocks were moved an hour back. Also, with the time change the weather is getting colder, so please bring jackets for your children to use during outside time.

• CLOSED: Saint John’s Childcare will be CLOSED on November 1st, due to All Saints Day. Please note the center will be closed on Friday.

Day of the Dead (Dia de los Mu***os) Celebration

This year the center will celebrate the day of the dead; this celebration starts on Nov 1st and will last thru the end of the month. There celebration focus on family members that have passed on and focus on celebrating their life.
The center is requesting pictures of your loved ones that we can placed on the altar, the center will create for this celebration. Please bring in your pictures by the week of October 28th. The pictures will be returned to you (you an either write your name behind the picture and we will send it home with your child) or pick up the picture yourself when you pick up your child on Nov 22nd.
