Fort Worth Christian School - Fine Arts

Our FWC Band is having a GREAT year!!!

Last Saturday, these wonderful musicians represented Fort Worth Christian and the Cardinal Band at the ATSSB Region 2/31 band auditions. These five students placed in the top of their instruments, making the All-Region Band!

Making the Symphonic Band:
Dylan White- Flute
Abbie Hebert- Clarinet

Making Concert Band:
Nate Nykiel- French Horn
Elijah Crenshaw- Euphonium
Lexi Moss- Tuba

All five students earned the opportunity to advance to the ATSSB Area round!

Cardinal Christmas is TOMORROW!!! Join us as we celebrate the season featuring our Fine Arts Department and the lighting of the tree!!

FWC Choir is busy today!! Veteran’s Chapel at school and Veteran’s Program at NRH City Hall!

Our art department had a great time judging pumpkins from all age divisions!! Lots of creativity!!! Congratulations to the winners!!

This just in….Cardinal Band/Guard take 1st place at TAPPS!!! State Champions!!! Congratulations!!!

We are thrilled to announce this year’s Valedictorian, Madelyn Paige Benfer, and Salutatorian, Lucy Johnmeyer! Both of these outstanding students have demonstrated incredible dedication and hard work throughout their time at FWC.

👏 Lucy Johnmeyer– Salutatorian
A leader in academics and extracurriculars, Lucy has been involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, Varsity Tennis, Cardinal Belles, and Academic Team, among many other activities. She has also served on mission trips to Honduras, New Hampshire, and Denver. Lucy plans to major in Psychology.

👏 Madelyn Paige Benfer– Valedictorian
Maddie has been part of the FWC family since Little Klubhouse and currently serves as Student Body President. A National Merit Commended Student, she has been involved in NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Hope Squad, Academic Team, and Student Ambassadors, while also competing in Tennis and Cardinal Belles. She will attend Abilene Christian University as an Honors Fellow, majoring in Advertising/Public Relations on a pre-law track.

We are so proud of these incredible Cardinals and can’t wait to see all they accomplish! ❤️🖤
