AHHHH….. the 2 day Black Belt test. For my old school peeps- remember? I have these two 5-Star people and 2 of the most dedicated Kenpoka tested today on DAY ONE in the mile, quarter mile (they do that twice), stair work, max Push-ups and Sit-ups (4sets on each), max jumping jacks and burpees, front lunges and moving horse stance straddles for 10 minutes….amongst other tidings of good joy 🤪
So far so good…tomorrow at 7am is DAY TWO !
When you see them, please give them encouragement…tomorrow is a HUGE day for them !

Today I was blessed to have 2 important people in my life help officiate an advanced black belt test. Kyoshi Jimmy O'Brien and my very first Kenpo teacher, mentor, father figure, Hanshi Fred Bagley. 3 were tested: I now have 2 - 6th degree and 1 - 8th degree black belts. Many congratulations go to Shihans Steve, Mary Callahan Gros and Colleen Lemay
