That’s a wrap on another incredible North Reading Summer Baseball Clinic! ⚾💚💛

Over the past two weeks, our players worked hard to improve their baseball skills, but our biggest goal was always bigger than the game. This week’s themes of Selflessness, Energy, Togetherness, and Positive Attitude reminded us that great teammates become great people.

We had an awesome final week, highlighted by RPS ultimate survivor, our daily “You Make the Call” trivia, and finishing today with our annual Baseball Olympics. There was plenty of competition, lots of laughs, and even more players cheering each other on.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff for the time, energy, and enthusiasm they poured into these two weeks. They did an amazing job creating an environment where every player could learn, have fun, and grow a little more confident each day.

Finally, thank you to all of our families for trusting us with your children this summer. We hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the summer, enjoys the rest of baseball season, and keeps having fun playing this great game.

Two tremendous days so far of week 2. Themes of the day have been “selflessness” and bringing “positive energy”. Kids have been absolutely phenomenal and fun times have been had by all! Here are some highlights from Monday and Tuesday!

Week 1 of our Summer Baseball Clinic is officially in the books, and what a fantastic week it was!

While we spent plenty of time working on throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running, our biggest goal each day went far beyond baseball. Every morning we focused on one of our four clinic themes: Be a Great Teammate, Be Responsible, Show Great Sportsmanship, and Always Give Your Best Effort. We hope those lessons stay with our players long after the clinic ends.

We wrapped up the week with our annual Baseball Olympics, where players competed in a variety of fun baseball challenges, encouraged one another, and celebrated each other’s successes. It was the perfect way to end an awesome week!

One of the things that makes this clinic so special is our staff. Our instructors include current North Reading High School baseball players, North Reading baseball alumni, and our entire North Reading High School varsity coaching staff. It’s a great opportunity for our young players to learn the game from people who have worn the Hornet uniform and who are passionate about giving back to the next generation.

Thank you to all of our players for bringing incredible energy and enthusiasm every day, to our amazing staff for investing their time and serving as outstanding role models, and to all of our families for trusting us to be a small part of your child’s summer.

Hi all,

Based on the forecast for tomorrow we have decided to postpone the clinic. We apologize for any inconvenience, but feel it is in the best interest for the kids. The make-up will be held on Friday, July 10th.

Today was a tremendous day and see you all Wednesday morning for a tremendous day 2 of the clinic.

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a great holiday season thus far! We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our NR Summer Baseball Clinics!

Note: Last year both weeks were sold out and we had roughly 25-30 on the waitlist. Historically we have done our best to accommodate some people off the waitlist, but that has led to some unbalanced teams, so unfortunately we can't promise any spots to anyone that doesn't make the initial sign-up.

Clinic Information:
Week 1: July 6-9
Week 2: July 13-16
Ages: 6-13
Time: 9am-2pm
Location: Benevento LL Complex

Clinic Highlights:
-4:1 player-to-coach ratio for personalized coaching
-Daily skills training: hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning
-Afternoon games to apply what players learn
-Emphasis on character: sportsmanship, effort, teamwork, confidence
-Daily giveaways for added fun and excitement
-Baseball Olympics on Thursday of each week
-Experienced staff including NR Varsity Head Coach Eric Archambault, high school coaches, college players, former varsity players, and current varsity athletes

It is encouraged that players sign up for both weeks, as we try to build off skills learned in week 1, however it is not mandatory.
