HelloâŚ
I am writing to say thank you. I have been involved with Squantum PTO for the past 7 years, and there is not one day I regret working toward making all of our childrenâs experiences a better one. Was it always easy, nope. Was it always worth it, yes! I hope my time volunteering and serving on the board, has made a positive impact on the students, teachers, staff and families.
Thank you to all the current and past board members I have served with. You gave your time and contributed selflessly to ensure everyone was taken care of, and thatâs something to be proud of. I wish the new board the BEST and know they will be amazing next year and in the future.
Thank you to Mr. Sylvia and all the teachers and staff. What a fantastic group of people who take such great care of our children and find fun and creative ways for them to learn.
If I may offer a bit of adviceâŚ
⢠I encourage YOU to volunteer, be involved, and when asked to help, say yes! There are many ways to participate âfind your niche and go with it.
⢠Take photos at every school event in every grade! Our 5th grade yearbook is fantastic â only because we had photos to use in it!
⢠Know the PTO is always working to make things better. The various events that are planned (trunk or treat, field day, book fair etc) took MANY hours behind the scenes to put together. Be kind and part of the solution.
I will truly miss being part of the Squantum School community.
All the best and have a great summerâŚ.
