🍕🍪 Cooking Up Some Fun with Ms Deanna! 👩‍🍳❤️

We’ve been having SO much fun cooking with Ms Deanna this week! ⛪️👩‍🍳 The kiddos got to put on their chef hats and make their very own mini pizzas 🍕 and they did an amazing job creating their tasty little masterpieces!

But then came the BIG hit… DEEP-FRIED OREOS! 🍪🤤 Let’s just say… they were a HUGE success! The smiles, excitement, and happy little taste-testers said it all! 😂❤️ and they ended the week with homemade popsicles!

Nothing beats learning, creating, and making sweet memories together especially when there are delicious treats involved! 🥰🍕🍪

A BIG thank you to Ms Deanna for making cooking so much fun! 👩‍🍳💕 We can’t wait to see what we cook up next! 🎉

🌞🍎 Catching Up on Summer Fun! 🍉🥦

Whew… summer has been BUSY! 😅☀️ We may have missed a week of posting, but that definitely doesn’t mean we missed out on the fun! We’ve been busy making memories, learning, laughing, and keeping those kiddos having the BEST summer ever! 💛

Last week was all about FOOD GROUPS! 🍎🥕🥛🥪🍓

Our food explorers had a blast learning about all the different food groups and trying foods they may have never tasted before! We talked about healthy foods that help our bodies grow strong 💪 and even learned about some of the not-so-great choices we should enjoy only once in a while. 🍪🍭😉

And of course, we had to make learning FUN! 🎉 The kiddos got to play a fun food-sorting game where they sorted different play foods into their correct food groups. 🍎🥦🥛🍞 They did an AMAZING job and showed off just how much they were learning! 👏🤩

There were lots of new tastes, funny faces, big smiles, and plenty of “Can I try it again?!” moments! 😂❤️

From learning and tasting to playing and sorting, our Food Groups Week was definitely one to remember! 🥳

And don’t worry… we’re catching you up on ALL the summer craziness! 📸🌴☀️ Stay tuned because we have plenty more fun to share! 💦🎉

🌿🦜 Rainforest Adventures Continue at Summer Care! 🦥🌺

What a WILD week we’ve had exploring the amazing rainforest! 🌴🐒 Our campers have been busy creating, playing, learning, and making memories every single day!

This week was full of fun as the kids enjoyed:
🌿 Painting a beautiful rainforest mural together
🍌 Trying plantain chips a new tropical snack for many of our campers! Some loved them, some weren’t quite convinced, but everyone was excited to give something new a try!
🎥 A cozy movie day featuring Disney’s The Jungle Book! We snuggled up with our friends and enjoyed following Mowgli on his exciting rainforest adventure! 🐻🐍🐘
🍦 An ice cream party to cool off and celebrate all the fun we’ve been having this summer!
🧩 Lots of puzzles, Play-Doh creations, imaginative play, games, and plenty of laughter shared with friends.

One of the best parts of Summer Care is watching friendships grow, imaginations soar, and smiles shine brighter every day. Whether we’re exploring the rainforest, creating masterpieces, , or sharing a sweet treat together, these campers know how to make every moment an adventure!

💚 Summer may be flying by, but we’re not slowing down! Stay tuned because there are still plenty more exciting adventures, activities, and memories to make before summer comes to an end! ☀️🌴🦜🍦💚

🐟🌊 What a FIN-tastic week we’ve had at Summer Camp! 🌊🐟

Earlier this week, we had an AWESOME special guest from the UW–Madison Aquatic Science Center who dove into the fascinating world of fish with us! 🐠💙

Our campers learned all about incredible Lake Sturgeon, discovered some amazing fish facts, and put their knowledge to the test with a fun True or False game! 🤔🎣 The kids had so much fun guessing the answers and were surprised by just how much there is to learn about our underwater friends!

The creativity kept flowing as everyone made their very own fishing scenes and stamped colorful fish stencil artwork to take home. 🎨🐟 We loved seeing each child’s imagination come to life!

💨🐠 Silly Fun Fact of the Day: Did you know… fish can toot?! 🤣 Yep, some fish release gas just like we do and sometimes it even helps them communicate or control their buoyancy! Who knew learning about science could be so funny? And another amazing fun fact we learned is that fish can actually have feelings too they can experience things like stress, comfort, and even social bonds in their own unique way! 💙🐟

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful guest speaker for making learning so hands-on, interactive, and memorable! We can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of summer camp has in store! ☀️💙🎣

🌴💦 Happy Water Day! 💦🌴

Good afternoon from our little island paradise! ☀️🏝️ We kicked off this Wednesday by doing what kids do best—playing, laughing, and just being kids!

Since we had to make up for some missed fun from last week, we started our Water Day festivities a little earlier than usual… and the excitement was through the roof! 🌊🎉 From hanging out with friends and playing games to getting ready for a splashing good time, we are making the most of every minute together.

There’s nothing better than seeing smiling faces, hearing lots of giggles, and watching friendships grow as we soak up all the fun of Tropical Island Week! 🌺🦜

🌴🍍 Tasty Tuesday was an island feast! 🍍🌴

The kids took their taste buds on a tropical adventure as we celebrated Tasty Tuesday during Tropical Island Week! 😋🌺

On the menu was a delicious island-inspired snack featuring island noodles, flavorful jerk chicken, sweet bananas, juicy pineapple, and fresh cucumbers topped with a squeeze of lemon juice! 🍜🍗🍌🍍🥒🍋

The kids had so much fun trying new flavors, talking about tropical foods, and enjoying a meal that made us feel like we were dining on a sunny island paradise! 🌞🏝️
