Weekly Reminders

MONDAY, 8/24 — First Day of School!

We’re so excited to welcome our Panthers back! (Double check if your 5K student starts on Monday or Tuesday) 🐾📚

🚨 IMPORTANT: DROP-OFF & PICK-UP DOORS HAVE CHANGED!

Please take a moment to review the updated procedures attached. The drop-off and pick-up doors ARE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR, so make sure you know where to go!

🚫 REMINDER: There is NO drive-up pick-up line at the end of the school day! Parents must park in a designated parking space and walk up to get their child.

👕 SPIRIT WEAR IS OPEN!

Another successful Open House in the books! 💙💛🐾

It was SO great to see our Panthers back at Prairie View and our village together again! We’re officially ready for another amazing school year! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to all of the food trucks who came out to help us celebrate and generously donated back to our school! We’re so grateful for the continued support of our Prairie View community. Shorty's Grilled Cheese Kona Ice Lake Country Dough Nation WIPiña Mexican Eats Chick-fil-A

And a special thank you to Leah & Kay for putting together the cutest Build Your Own Bouquet table! 💐 Thanks to our amazing families, they raised over $100 for our PBIS Cart! 👏

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make Open House such a fun night. We loved seeing so many familiar faces—and welcoming some new ones, too!

It was so wonderful seeing all of our Panthers back at school for Open House! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our PTO, and participated in this year’s raffles. 💙

🎉 PRAIRIE VIEW SPIRIT WEAR STORE IS OPEN! 💙💛

The Spirit Wear Store is officially open and will be accepting orders through September 2nd! 🐾

We’ve added a new design that goes along with this year’s school theme, plus a couple of new products! If you’ve been shopping our Spirit Wear Store for the past few years, be sure to check it out—you might find something new to add to your Panther gear collection! 💙💛

Be sure to click “START SHOPPING” to view the ENTIRE store!

A few important reminders when ordering:

• When you check out, please enter one student’s name AND their teacher’s name. This helps us sort orders and make sure everything gets home with the correct kiddo!

Have multiple students at Prairie View? No problem! You do not need to place separate orders for each child or list every student. Just choose one student and teacher to put on the order, and we’ll send the entire order home with that student.

• Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks after the store closes on September 2nd for orders to arrive and be distributed.

📣 Coming to Open House Wednesday? We’ll have a QR code and Spirit Wear information at the PTO table so you can easily access the store!

And remember—we only open our Spirit Wear Store ONCE a year, so this is your chance to stock up and gear up for the year! 🐾💙💛

It was so much fun watching our littlest Panthers meet new friends, play together, and get a little more comfortable before those exciting first days of school! 🐾

💙💛 SHARE YOUR PASSION WITH PVES! 💛💙

Prairie View Elementary School’s High Interest Day is a PTO-sponsored event happening Friday, November 6, and we’re looking for community members who are excited to share what they’re passionate about with our students!

Maybe it’s your career, a hobby you could talk about all day, a talent you’ve perfected, a business you’ve built, or just something really cool you know how to do. High Interest Day is your chance to turn that passion into a fun, hands-on experience for kids who may be discovering it for the very first time!

And THAT is what makes this day so much fun. You never know which student might walk out of your session saying, “I want to do THAT someday!” ✨

The more unique, interactive, and outside-the-box, the better! You do NOT need to be a PVES parent to participate, and we’ll work with you on age groups and availability.
