🍎🥧 Fall fun is even sweeter when you can eat your creations! Our Older Threes whipped up delicious apple pie cups, crushing graham crackers, adding yummy apple pie filling, and finishing it all with a dollop of whipped cream! Little hands were hard at work practicing fine motor skills while creating their own tasty treats. Nothing says fall quite like a little apple pie magic! 🍂

🍂 Our whole school is soaking up all the fun that comes with the change of seasons! 🍁As the leaves turn colorful and the weather gets a little cooler, our Twos jumped into some sweet fall crafting and made their very own candy apples! With construction paper, glue, and plenty of colorful sprinkles, they created the cutest little fall treats! 🍎

🍎🍂 Our Toddlers are celebrating the start of fall with a little oatmeal + apple sensory fun! They explored different textures, smells, and colors while scooping, squishing, and investigating their fall-inspired materials. Sensory play helps build fine-motor skills, encourages curiosity, and gives little learners a fun way to explore with their senses. 🍁Who knew fall could be this much fun?

🍂 The Older Threes jumped right into October with some fall-inspired fun! 🎨🍁 They created leaf collages and adorable “leaf hair” portraits while exploring colors, textures, and patterns found in nature. These hands-on activities help build fine-motor skills, creativity, self-expression, and confidence while encouraging little artists to use their imaginations. 🍂✨ October is off to a colorful start!

🍎🍏 TK Apple Taste Test! 🍏🍎

Our TK friends put their 5 senses to work with a delicious fall taste test!
They sampled different apples, used their taste words to describe each one, shared their thoughts with friends, and then ranked their favorites from 🍎 to 🍏!

Learning, sharing, and a little apple tasting… that’s a sweet fall day in TK! 🍂

A full-circle moment that made us smile.

One of our teachers once had this dad in her preschool classroom. Now she's helping guide his little one through those same early years.

The classrooms may look different, but the mission remains the same: helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

Wishing our families a safe, joyful, and relaxing Fourth of July weekend filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of ice cream.
Happy Fourth!

The best early learning environments help children feel safe, build meaningful relationships, explore through play, and grow with confidence.
As you search for the right preschool, look for:
• Caring teachers who build trusting relationships
• Purposeful, hands-on learning
• Safe, nurturing classrooms
• Strong partnerships with families
• A focus on the whole child's development

These are the experiences that help children develop a lifelong love of learning.

The best summer learning doesn't always look like learning.

It looks like exploring, creating, making friends, asking questions, and discovering something new every day.

Small moments today equals big growth next school year.

06/16/2026

Thank you to our Georgetown Hill families for an incredible 2025-2026 school year. Have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you soon.

06/12/2026

Summer is a time for exploration, discovery, and growth.

Beginning June 22, Georgetown Hill Early School's summer program offers children engaging experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and build confidence through play-based learning.

From outdoor adventures to hands-on activities and new friendships, every day is designed to help children learn, play, and thrive.

06/10/2026

Small changes in conversation can make a big difference in learning.
When we ask open-ended questions, children have the opportunity to think more deeply, share their ideas, and practice important communication skills. These everyday interactions help build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Try it today: Instead of asking, "What is it?" ask, "What do you notice?"

06/02/2026

We're officially counting down to summer.
Longer days, sidewalk chalk, outdoor adventures, family traditions, and a little extra time to play are almost here.

There is something about hands-on projects, messy tables, and getting fully absorbed in creating something that kids never forget. Come make some messes.
