Today is the last day of Summer Camp, and our hearts are so full! 💙

This summer has been filled with friendships, laughter, memories, and growing closer to God. Each day they spent time in Bible study, teaching our campers that these words will stay with them for a lifetime. We pray that God’s Word continues to be written on their hearts and guides them wherever they go.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your child’s summer. We will miss you all and can’t wait to see you next year!

Part-Time VPK Teacher - Join Our Ministry Team!

Do you love Jesus, love sharing His Word, and love little ones? We are seeking a caring and passionate Part-Time VPK Teacher to join our faith-based preschool family.

This position is perfect for someone who feels called to ministry through education but doesn’t want to work a full 40-hour week. Our part-time schedule offers up to 25 hours per week in a Christ-centered environment where faith and learning go hand in hand.

Today was FIN-tastic at Gulf Coast Christian Academy! 🦈

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mote Marine Laboratory for their “Truth in the Tooth” educational program!

Our students had so much fun learning about different kinds of shark teeth, what sharks eat, how their teeth help them survive, and so many incredible facts about these fascinating ocean animals. The children loved seeing real shark teeth up close and discovering how each type of tooth tells a story about a shark’s diet and lifestyle.

A huge thank you to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium for bringing such an exciting, hands-on learning experience to our school. We love creating opportunities that inspire curiosity, encourage learning, and make science come alive for our students!

Today our friends had a wonderful time learning all about water safety with Josh the Otter! We talked about the importance of staying safe around pools, lakes, and beaches and learned some very important rules to help keep everyone safe.

We learned:
🦦 Always have an adult with you near the water.
🦦 Never swim alone! always have a buddy.
🦦 Listen to water safety rules and lifeguards.
🦦 If you ever get tired while swimming, become a “starfish” by floating on your back with your arms and legs spread wide. This helps your body float while you rest and wait for help.

As summer continues, we encourage all of our families to practice these important water safety skills at home. Thank you for helping us keep our little ones safe in and around the water!

Fudge Day was a success!
We know ice cream could never fully match the gratitude we feel for all the father figures in our children’s lives, but we hope you were able to slow down, enjoy the moment, and spend some special time with your little one.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks of summer break filled with so much fun, learning, and memories made! ☀️

From snow cones to fire truck visits, our little ones have been enjoying every moment of summer adventures together. A huge thank you to the North Port Fire Department for coming out to teach our children about fire safety and the importance of community helpers. We are so grateful for your time and dedication to our kids!

We can’t wait for our upcoming Water Day this Friday!!! It’s going to be the perfect way to cool off and celebrate summer fun with friends.

Thank you families for being part of such a joyful season at Gulf Coast Christian Academy. We are loving every moment with your little ones!

Happy Father’s Day to all of our amazing dads and father figures! 💙 We hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating the special people in your little one’s lives.

Just a reminder that FUDGE Day (Fathers, Uncles, Dads, Grandpas, and other special father figures) is tomorrow, Monday, June 22nd!

A “make your own” sundae station will be available at pick-up beginning at 2:30 PM. We hope to see you there as we celebrate all the father figures who make such a special impact in our little ones’ lives.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
