Parents/Noah's Ark Families,

It is with great sadness that I need to announce that effective immediately, Noah's Ark Preschool will not be reopening.

The church has made the decision to close, which involves closing the school as well.

Our hearts are heavy with this news, as this is not the outcome we were hoping for.

Our love to all of our families, we wish we could give the kiddos just one more hug and tell them that we love them.

We will miss you all and wish for nothing but the best for everyone.

We hope and pray all are safe from the effects of the storm.

Until we are able to get to and into the school to assess any damages, which we have not been able to do as of yet, please be aware that Noah's Ark will be closed until that time, for the safety of our staff and students.

Please check back for updates, and stay safe as we all continue to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. ♥️

Our Bible verse this week is: “...God always does what He says...” - Psalm 145:13

Due to the weather, we read the Bible story in our classrooms this morning.

This morning we learned the story of Abraham. Abraham followed God. He had a wife named Sarah, a place to live, and many animals. One day God asked Abraham to move his family. It was hard, but Abraham obeyed and moved his family to a different place. God continued to bless Abraham and Sarah with land and livestock. However, they did not have a child, something they wanted very much. Even though they were very old, God told them He would give them a baby. God fulfilled His promise by giving them a son, Isaac. We learned that God always keeps His promises! ❤️

Just a reminder that we will close at 12 noon today, Tuesday September 27th, and have made the decision to stay closed on Wednesday 9/28 and Thursday 9/29.

We are hopeful to reopen on Friday 9/30, depending on the conditions left by the storm.

Parents, please note that we will be closing at 12 noon tomorrow, Tuesday September 27th in order to allow our families and staff to prepare for the storm.

Should Sarasota County schools remain closed on Wednesday September 28th due to the weather, please note that we will be closed as well.

We will keep you updated for the remainder of the week.
