A huge thanks for attending this year's EFSC Career Fair @ NPHS!

It's Thursday, so that means it's time to summarize the North Port Fire Rescue calls from the last week. As you can see, the outside fire calls are going up. This week doubled the calls from last week. The City remains under an Outdoor Burn Ban, so please remain diligent in preventing fires like this. From April 14-20, NPFR responded to 205 calls. This included:

- 10 outside fires
- 136 EMS calls
- 40 service calls
- 14 good intent calls (calls where the resident believes there is an emergency, but turns out not to be)
- 5 false alarms (Literal false alarms going off in a building)
Great work to all crews and stations, as always!

📣 Career Fair Update: Sofia attended the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. Career Fair @ NPHS last week and started BUILDING her future. Today the Charlotte DeSoto Building Industry Association surprised her with a scholarship announcement and other amazing opportunities to help her with the dreams of becoming an architect. Congratulations, Sofia 👷‍♀️ & thank you CDBIA 🧰 - best morning ever!
