Arctic Explorers Preschool & Co-op is hiring a part time position for the 26-27 school year.

To be eligible, the applicant must:
🌲Have experience working with children.
🌲Have 12 or more early childhood or elementary education credits.
🌲A passion for teaching and motivating students to gain a love of learning though hands-on academic activities and creative lessons.
🌲Must be knowledgeable of the importance of social emotional learning and development stages as well as skills for preschool aged children.
🌲Must be, or will need to be, CPR certified.

More details:
✨Part time, 20 hours per week
✨$16 - $20 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
✨AEP follows the FNSBSD calendar
✨Your own child may come with you as long as they are 3 years of age or older.

Reminder: Back to School Night Open House is tonight, 5:30-7:30pm!

Open house is for:
🌲Families already registered (there is paperwork for you to complete - please bring shot records!)
🌲Families still thinking about registering.
🌲Friends - bring friends who might be looking for a preschool or Co-op!

Come see the school, meet teachers, and most importantly - have ice cream or Otter Pops.🍦

I may have bought out all of Walmart’s vanilla & chocolate ice cream cups. So don’t let it go to waste, and help keep the teachers from having to take it home for dinner! 😋

July’s music camp had lots of movement, singing, black light dancing, and instrument playing! We ended the week with a small program for the parents where our bigs accompanied the littles on ukulele!

How lucky are we that the North Pole Fourth of July Parade goes right by our school! We got to celebrate America’s birthday together! 🇺🇸

June’s outdoor camp was spent visiting numerous parks, a lemonade stand, Chena Lakes, and waiting VERY patiently all morning to ride the carousel at Alaskaland.

In June we put in an AEP garden and planted potatoes, carrots, kale, and flowers. Fast forward to August, look at how it’s growing! We’re going to have some fun harvesting all these veggies come school time!
