Before founding Northern Educational Consultants (NEC) in 2014, Veronnica earned a Master's of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling, with concentration on secondary education, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2007. Upon completion of the Master's program, Veronnica obtained State of Alaska certification as a school counselor for grades 7-12. She went on to teach those grades at No

rth Pole Christian School as well as offer guidance counseling to its high school students. In spite of a 4-year hiatus from her career to be an at-home mom, Veronnica has kept her State of Alaska guidance counselor certification current by maintaining continuing education. She is currently completing a certificate program through UC Irvine in Independent Educational Consulting. As a lifelong Alaskan, Veronnica feels passionate about guiding our state's future generations along their pathways to success. Her goal is to help parents and students navigate the maze of requirements leading up to high school graduation and college or technical school admission. She will offer guidance for students to wisely choose their high school curriculum and activities, thoughtfully compile a College List, and successfully complete the college, scholarship, and financial aid application processes. Our children have big dreams; Veronnica will help students pursue their dreams by exploring the possibilities and presenting options that best fit their abilities and interests.
