Certified divers — we want to get you back in the water. 🤿🫧

Skills Night isn’t another class.

It’s your chance to blow some bubbles. Find your underwater Zen. Practice a skill. Ask questions. Get instructor input. Work on your buoyancy. Try something new. Or just play.

Maybe there was a skill during certification you wanted more time with.

Maybe you have questions now that you’ve actually been out diving.

Maybe you’re getting ready for a trip and want some pool time first.

Maybe you want to work on your trim, play with your weighting, get comfortable in new gear or practice something until it finally clicks.

Or maybe you just want an hour underwater where nobody can talk to you. 😂

That counts too.

Want to join us? Here’s what needs to happen first:

🤿 You must be an Open Water certified diver.

💻 Set up your free SSI profile at DiveSSI.com and make sure your paperwork is current.

📞 Get registered and reserve your night. We have limited spots, so you do need to be signed up before you come.

🌊 You need to have made a dive within the last year. Been out longer? No problem. Talk to us about a refresher first.

🥽 Mask, snorkel and fins are required. Rentals are available for an additional fee if you need them.

⚙️ Using your own BCD or regulator? Bring it by the shop ahead of time so we can check it out.

Then you're ready.

$75 drop-in, or ask us about our 8- and 16-night Skills Passes.

Come once. Come a couple times a month. Come every chance you get.

You got certified for a reason. Let’s get you underwater. 🫧

🫧 First Skills Night was a SUCCESS! 🤿

Sometimes you don't need a class. You don't need another certification. You don't need to prove anything.

You just need to get back in the water.

Blow some bubbles. Get comfortable in your gear again. Remember how your body moves underwater. Play with your buoyancy. Laugh at yourself when something doesn't quite go as planned. And spend a little time doing something you genuinely enjoy.

That's what our first Skills Night looked like.

Lots of bubbles. Lots of smiles. A few fun challenges. And a whole bunch of divers getting reacquainted with the water again.

Everyone climbed out smiling — and we're pretty sure everyone slept REALLY well. 😂

Tomorrow is our FIRST Scuba Skills Night… and boy are we excited! 🤿🫧

The gear is getting ready, the games are coming out, and we’re finally getting this thing in the water!

Our first night is full, but we still have space September 3!

Already a certified diver? Been diving with us before? Even better if your paperwork is already squared away — give us a call and see if we can get you in.

Because getting certified is really just the beginning.

You learned buoyancy. You cleared your mask. You shared air. You practiced your emergency skills. You learned how your gear works.

But then what?

Maybe you only dive when you travel.

Maybe there are six months between dives.

Maybe there was one skill you passed, but never really felt great about.

Maybe you bought new gear and want some time to figure it out before you're on a boat somewhere.

Or maybe you simply miss being underwater.

That’s why we created Scuba Skills Nights.

A place to keep using what you learned.

Practice something until it feels natural. Try something new. Get more comfortable in your gear. Work on buoyancy. Play a ridiculous underwater game. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Laugh about them and try again.

You don't have to be the best diver in the pool.

You just have to want to keep diving.

Because the more time you spend underwater, the less you have to think about every little thing — and the more you can actually enjoy being there.

That’s the whole point.

Get certified. Keep diving. Keep learning. Keep having fun.

Why did we create Scuba Skills Nights?

Because sometimes you just need to get underwater.

Alaska winters are long. Dive trips can feel a long way away. And once you earn your certification, there aren’t always a lot of opportunities to simply get in the water and dive.

So we created Skills Nights.

To get out of the house during the winter.
To have something different to do during the week.
To test out that new piece of gear before taking it on a trip.
To sharpen a skill that feels a little rusty.
To keep the skills you worked hard to learn.
To work on buoyancy and get more comfortable underwater.
To get ready for an upcoming dive trip.
To spend time with other divers.
To try something new.

The list goes on and on.

But the biggest reason? To have FUN.

We want you to remember why you fell in love with scuba in the first place.

Every hour you spend underwater gives you another opportunity to become more comfortable, more capable, and more confident. And when it’s time to jump into the ocean, we want you feeling as confident as possible.

So during those long Alaska months?
