This year our 3rd-5th grade students participated in the Tanana Valley Watershed Association Adopt-A-Stream program! Through this hands-on experience, our students learned how volunteers help monitor water quality by measuring turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and pH levels, while also taking part in habitat restoration efforts.

A special thank you to Tori Brannan, TVWA Board Secretary and former Salcha Elementary School principal, for leading these engaging classes and helping our students better understand the importance of caring for Alaska’s waterways and ecosystems.

Thank you to Golden Valley Electric Association for their annual tree giveaway and for allowing us to take home a tree for our school. What a meaningful gift for our students to be part of something that will continue to grow for years to come!

Pure joy from start to finish! 🏀

Our 3rd grade class had an absolute BLAST performing “Getcha Head in the Game” at our end-of-year rodeo celebration.

This fun performance was choreographed by the 3rd grade class themselves, and we could not be more proud of their creativity and teamwork. What a FUN way to celebrate an amazing school year!
