The perfect After School Job for a teen looking for some income on their own!
We are seeking High School teen to work as a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to support our educational team in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and staff to assist in the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring that all students receive the attention and resources they need to thrive for the afternoon. This role is essential in closing the building for the night and assisting with cleaning classrooms and the building.
Responsibilities
Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions.
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Monitor student behavior and implement classroom management strategies as needed.
Support students in developing social skills through group activities and play.
Give teachers bathroom breaks and assist in different rooms as necessary
Help organize toys, crafts/craft items, and children's items
Qualifications
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred but not required, this could also look like babysitting.
Certification in First Aid or CPR is beneficial. But not required
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and teachers
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 per week
