What an incredible first week! Thank you to Sign Gypsies, Ms. Trudy, Lori at Double Dips, Tim and the crew from Sports Shoppe, Bodenus Enterprises, Sodexo, our staff, custodial and maintenance, the families & caregivers who came to our first Breakfast With Books this morning and especially our students! Our community continues to show up big and support our students in ways I couldn’t have imagined 25 years ago when this all started. We couldn’t be more grateful. 💛💙💛💙

Nearly 200 North Platte students were fitted for running shoes Thursday as part of the Summer Kids Klub's 10th annual 5K training program, supported by local businesses and community donors.

This year our focus is on our Kids Klub fund. Follow along and learn more over the next couple of day. Did you know:
-500+ students attend Kids Klub during the school year at 7 schools—no transportation needed.
-200+ summer students attend at one site
-Kids Klub creates jobs—many staff go on to become teachers.
-Employs 37–40 staff (school year) and 22–32 (summer).
-Homework Club through the Foundation supports students with 6–10 teachers after school.
-Open K through 5th grade, but space is limited.
Your support keeps Kids Klub accessible for all families.

Yesterday we hosted our first ever Community Partner Appreciation Luncheon. We honored over 40 partners from our district and community. I cannot say it enough; I am so very proud to live and work here. 💙 Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. And thank you Beyond School Bells for sponsoring our event.
