MVC SERVICE ALERT

All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of the state holiday.

MVC CUSTOMER ALERT - Governor Murphy has directed all State offices to be closed on Friday, January 19th due to a weather emergency. All Motor Vehicle License and Vehicle Centers, Road Test and Inspection Facilities will be closed.

Any road test customer with a canceled appointment may reschedule online or return January 22nd through the 26th at the same appointment time on their cancellation notice.

MVC CUSTOMER ALERT - Governor Murphy has directed all State offices to open after a 2 hour delayed start time on January 16, 2024.

Any road test customer with a canceled appointment may return January 17th through the 24th at the same appointment time on their cancellation notice.

Tuesday, November 28, 2023,Edison Licensing Center cannot currently process transactions due to a power outage. A restoration time is currently unavailable. Any customer with a cancelled appointment will be offered a courtesy return pass.

MVC SERVICE ALERT - Friday, November 3

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) has announced the following facilities closures for upcoming state holidays:

Tuesday, November 7th: All NJMVC facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed.
Friday, November 10th: All NJMVC facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed.
Saturday, November 11th: Inspection stations only will be closed. Regular Saturday operations will be in effect at all other NJMVC facilities.
