Discovery Flight / Gift Experience

Some gifts get opened. Others get remembered for the rest of your life. ✈️

If you’ve got someone in your life who has always talked about learning to fly, a Falcon Discovery Flight is a pretty hard experience to beat.

For $99, they’ll get an introduction to the airplane, take part in the preflight process, and experience a coastal flight with one of our instructors.

And if that first flight turns into something bigger, $100 of the Discovery Flight is credited toward training when they enroll with Falcon.

Discovery Flight gift certificates are also available — perfect for birthdays, holidays, or finally giving someone the push to see what flying is really like.

October 1st hit Falcon Flight Academy a little differently this year… 🎃✈️

Yesterday: just another beautiful evening on the ramp.
Today: FULL SPOOKY SEASON. 👻🕷️🦇

Huge shoutout to our student Carson McCoy for making this masterpiece! He understood the assignment.

Happy October from all of us at Falcon Flight Academy! Now somebody keep an eye on that cat hiding behind N51265… 🐈‍⬛

🎉✈️ Congratulations, AJ — Private Pilot! ✈️🎉

We’re excited to congratulate AJ on earning his Private Pilot Certificate!

AJ is only a junior in high school, and what makes this accomplishment even more impressive is everything he’s balancing along the way. Between keeping up with school, playing baseball, and putting in the time and effort required for flight training, he still managed to earn his wings before even graduating high school.

Earning a Private Pilot Certificate takes a serious amount of commitment, studying, and discipline, and AJ has shown plenty of all three.

Congratulations, AJ! We’re proud to have been a part of the journey so far and can’t wait to see where aviation takes you next.

Welcome to the pilot community! 🛩️⚾

Huge congratulations to Skylar on passing his Private Pilot Check Ride! ✈️🎉

Mother Nature decided to make him earn it with a pretty windy day, but Skylar stayed focused, trusted his training, and got the job done. Days like that make the accomplishment even more rewarding.

That smile pretty much says it all. 😎

We’re proud of all the work Skylar has put in to get to this point and excited to see where aviation takes him next.

Congratulations, Skylar — you’re officially a Private Pilot! 🛩️

Huge congratulations to Becca on earning her Commercial Pilot Certificate! ✈️🎉

Becca has been with us from day one, and it has been awesome getting to watch her grow from a brand-new student into the pilot she is today. She has put in the time, stayed committed, worked through every challenge, and continued to raise the bar throughout her training.

We’re incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished so far, but she isn’t slowing down yet — next up is CFI training right here with us at Falcon Flight Academy.

Getting to be a part of a student’s entire journey from their very first lessons through Commercial and now into becoming a flight instructor is exactly why we love what we do.

Congratulations, Becca! Commercial Pilot complete. CFI, you’re next. 💪✈️

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on that day and in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Apparently Randy has moved on from being the most photographed man at CCMF.

Today he showed up at Falcon Flight Academy, climbed into an RV-12, and decided Myrtle Beach looked better from 2,500 feet.

No one is entirely sure how he got here.

One minute he was holding a tequila.
The next minute he was getting a preflight briefing.

Randy reported that flying was:
“Pretty darn cool.”

Which, for Randy, is basically a five-star review.

If you spotted him at CCMF this week, just know he’s now adding “aviator” to an already impressive résumé.

CCMF ➡️ RV-12

A natural progression, really.
