Learning can be simple, and fun! Here’s what we learned:
1. Shape Recognition: By making shape pizzas, toddlers learn to identify and name different shapes.
2. Sensory Exploration: The sensory bin with ice and leftover shapes helps develop their sense of touch and understanding of temperature and texture.
3. Fine Motor Skills: Making homemade pizza allows toddlers to practice their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they handle ingredients and utensils.
4. Creativity and Imagination: All of these activities encourage toddlers to use their creativity and imagination in a fun and engaging way.
5. Following Instructions: Following the steps to create their pizzas helps toddlers learn to listen and follow directions!
