Women on the Rise! (MOCA North Miami)
We engage girls in art making and critical conversations about body image, relationships, and culture. Women on the Rise!
is a unique gender-specific outreach program that presents the work of contemporary women artists such as Ana Mendieta and Carrie Mae Weems to teenage girls and young adult women throughout Miami-Dade County through partnerships with educational, social justice, and government institutions. activities also include publicatons and conference presentations that draw from our experiences.
