Because of this COVID-19, we can’t meet with our students and our partners in-person. Therefore, we have quickly transitioned at NotJustMath Tutoring Center to providing STEM training on-line. So critical and encouraging at the same time especially keeping these kids fully engaged while they understand they have to stay at home dealing with this COVID-19 nightmare during what it’s supposed to be their Spring Break. Exciting to see how our tutoring center is leading the way in providing some much-needed K-12 STEM Education Solutions to teachers and their students! We are so pleased with our results as we continue to assist the Community Access Center organization with rebuilding a robust STEM program from the ground up for their kids. Seeing these kids having so much fun with their STEM projects like never before makes our work so much more fun and exciting!

Exciting to work this afternoon with the kids at the Silver Lakes Middle School in Broward County, Florida and engaging them in activities along with relevant conversation about choosing a career in engineering. Kudos to the Broward Urban League on supporting such impactful STEM initiatives for these kids.

We had so much fun meeting with the kids and the wonderful staff from the Community Access Center organization as part of our on-going efforts at NotJustMath Tutoring Center to support and train these progressive community organizations and schools on how to effectively teach STEM to our kids in a fun way. As we fist discussed “Energy”, these kids can’t wait until our next class to get more hands-on with additional cool Energy projects.
