It was so exciting to welcome the Plainedge High School Class of 2030 yesterday at Freshman Orientation! Senior, Cole Gribbin, spoke with the incoming high schoolers to tell them about one of the best clubs here at PHS! Some moments remind us that the Plainedge family truly spans generations.

Recently, Dan Villariโ€”former PlainedgeTV student, Plainedge Red Devil, Syracuse standout, and current Los Angeles Rams tight endโ€”met with Dave Levisohn, a Plainedge High School Class of 1960 graduate, former Red Devils football player, and one of the most accomplished live television camera operators in broadcast history.

๐’๐ข๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฒ-๐ฌ๐ข๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ separated their graduations from Plainedge High School, yet thanks to some PlainedgeTV magic, they were able to meet for the very first time.

Though their paths began decades apart, they share something special: both proudly wore the Red Devils football uniform. Dan went on to play at Michigan and Syracuse before joining the Los Angeles Rams, while Dave served his country and built an extraordinary career behind the camera, earning 20 Emmy Awards and working on some of televisionโ€™s biggest productions, including The Oscars, the Grammy Awards, Dancing with the Stars, Americaโ€™s Got Talent, The Tonight Show, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and more!

Itโ€™s a reminder that Plainedge is more than a schoolโ€”itโ€™s a lifelong community. Seeing these two remarkable alumni connect, swap stories, and celebrate their shared roots was truly something special.

From the football field to the television studio, PlainedgeTV connections continue to bring people together.
