Trinity Daycare & Preschool independently owned Christian based childcare center and preschool We are proud to be the longest operating daycare in Mankato!

With great staff and a huge facility, your child will love coming to play and learn. We have four different rooms at our daycare; the infant, romper, toddler and preschool room. (Preschoolers are divided into four sub-groups according to their age and development.) Each of our staff members are First Aid and CPR certified so you can rest assured your child is not only having fun while with us, but

is also safe. Since we are a Christian-based daycare we teach the children bible stories and pray before each meal. If you would like to know more about our curriculum and what our daily schedule looks like, you're more than welcome to call and ask questions or set up a tour with us!

Contact your local school district or ask your medical provider to connect you with a preschool screening station. Developmental screenings are recommended and free regardless of economic or immigration status. Screen at age 3.

We are working on learning how to regulate during big emotions with toddlers and preschoolers. We take deep breaths in and blow it all out.

Smell the flower.
HOLD for 2-4 seconds.
Blow the candle.

Parents feel free to practice this at home! We suggest even practicing when emotions are at bay to help the kiddos learn the technique. It’s not ideal or as effective to teach during big emotions.
It also helps to model when you are feeling over whelmed (which never happens 😉). When you are modeling, please verbalize and describe what you are doing to help kiddos observe/learn.

“Mom/dad is feeling frustrated. I’m going to smell the flower and blow out the candle.”
