In science, Mrs. Marco’s class has been learning a lot about seeds, plants, and how they grow. They started an experiment to learn if plants need sunlight to grow. Half the class will be growing radish plants in the sunlight, and the other half of the class will have their plants in the dark. In a few days they’ll check them to see how they’re doing!

2nd Grade has been collecting postcards from the fifty states. Our goal is to get one from each state. When we recieve a postcard we find it on the map and learn facts about that state.

Students in Mrs. Hoehn’s second grade class were learning about which kinds of birds were likely to visit a bird feeder based on what they eat. Students designed and built bird feeders using available materials.
