We are excited to announce the Bobby Agee 2nd Annual AVID Scholarship Fundraiser, proudly organized by the Sylvan Hills Middle School PTSA.

This year, we are raising funds to provide scholarships for two outstanding AVID high school seniors who have dedicated their time to tutoring and supporting students here at Sylvan Hills Middle School. These students have made a meaningful impact, and we want to recognize their commitment and hard work.

Our goal is to raise $1,000, and we need your help to make it happen! All it takes is 100 people to send $10!

Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward supporting these deserving seniors as they take the next step in their educational journey.

Our very own local unit sent a representative to Washington DC to advocate for IDEA part B funding, rollback on cuts to SNAP benefits, the STOP school violence act and the Family Education and Engagement ACT as part of the National PTA legislative conference along with other AR state PTA members. PTA is more than muffins, dances and Teacher Appreciation week! If you are interested our local units board needs officers for next year! Email us a [email protected]
