Please join us for the Community Health Impact Conference hosted by The Center for Research, Health, and Social Justice at UAMS. This will be a free hybrid conference held on October 16-17, 2023 (hybrid meeting on October 16th (in-person and virtual) and virtual meeting only on October 17th).
This year’s theme is: Saving Black Lives Through Food Sustainability. We have an amazing and informative agenda including Celebrity Chef Alicia Watson and superb vendors! Please join us for two exciting days of workshops where you will learn how to start a community garden and develop sustainable food solutions. Our goal is to highlight food insecurity and how it disproportionately impacts Black and Rural communities, which leads to a higher chance of having a chronic disease like cancer or cardiovascular disease.
