Hi NBE families, Lily Schloss an NBE and CCA Alum who is a student at UI, majoring in vocal performance and music education won the 1st round of the Star Spangled Sing-Off competition and is now in the regional and final round.

Suz, her fabulous mom and our amazing school secretary, has requested our help. Lily needs our votes to win the competition and an all-expenses paid trip to Nashville to record her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Retiree Spotlight: Lynne Doehrmann
After 24 years of dedicated service in different roles as a 3rd grade teacher, Lynne Doehrmann and the impact she’s made at Clear Creek Amana Community School District.

“Unforgettable field trips to Living History Farms and Kent Park, alongside the energy of Track and Field Day.”
💙What they’ll miss most:
“My wonderful colleagues, who became true friends, and the daily joy of watching students grow, learn, and make me laugh.”
