Children seem to inherently know kindness. ❤️
But there’s something especially beautiful about the child who chooses to show it—who reaches out a hand, includes a friend, slows down for someone else, and says without words, “You belong with me.”
At The Learning Grove Academy, some of the biggest lessons happen in the smallest moments. 🌱
Little hands. Big hearts. Room for love and learning. ❤️

🔎🐾 Our Pre-K friends became S Detectives this morning! 🔍✨

With their detective eyes ready, our little learners explored the classroom and building searching high and low for the letter S! From signs to labels and everything in between, they had so much fun spotting S’s all around them. 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Learning letters is even more fun when we turn it into an adventure! 💛📚✨

🌧️🍲 Rainy Day = Soup Day! 🍲🌧️

What better way to brighten up a rainy day than with a delicious staff soup potluck! 🥣💛 Our amazing team brought in all kinds of homemade soups to share, filling the building with cozy smells, warm bowls, and lots of smiles!

We are so thankful for the wonderful staff who not only care for our children each day but also know how to come together and enjoy some good food and even better company. 🥰

Nothing says comfort quite like a warm bowl of soup on a rainy day! ☔️🍲❤️

💔 A Heartfelt Goodbye to Dolly Parton 💔

Today, we are heartbroken to say goodbye to a true legend. Dolly Parton was so much more than a beloved musician, she was a champion for children, education, and literacy. Her kindness and generosity touched millions of lives, and her impact will continue for generations to come.

One of her greatest gifts to children was Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which she founded in 1995 after being inspired by her father, who was unable to read or write. The program provides free, high-quality books to children from birth through age five, helping families build a love of reading from the very beginning. Since its creation, the Imagination Library has gifted more than 300 million books to children around the world.

As early childhood educators, we know just how powerful a book can be. A story can spark imagination, build language, create connection, and open a child's world to endless possibilities. Dolly understood that and she made it her mission to put books into the hands of children everywhere.

Her legacy reminds us that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and imagine. 📚❤️

We are incredibly sad to see her go, but we are grateful for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Every child who opens an Imagination Library book is a little piece of Dolly's dream living on.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing in children and for helping generations of little readers dream a little bigger. 🌈📖

Rest peacefully, Dolly. Your imagination will live on forever. ❤️
