Behind every tutoring session is a little bit or organized chaos. ☕️ 📚

Most mornings look something like this:
✨Coffee first
✨Get my boys ready for the day
✨Review my lesson plans
✨Set up my tutoring space
✨Log into Zoom or welcome my first student
✨Reorganize my space

Working from home lets me do what I love while still being present for my family, and I’m so grateful for that. 🥹

One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching kids learn without even realizing they’re learning. 🥹

Yesterday was the first day of our Pre-K learning pod, and we had SO much fun learning all about apples! 🍏🍎 We read, explored, counted, created, sorted, practiced fine-motor skills, and of course… got a little messy! 🎨

Seeing a parent share that her child had so much fun truly means the world to me. ❤️

Learning should feel exciting, hands-on, and joyful, especially at this age!

So, what does a Pre-K Learning Pod actually look like? 👀📚

It looks like learning through play, hands-on activities, creativity, and intentional instruction in a small group setting where each child can get plenty of attention.

For our pod, we’ll be working on:
🔤 Early literacy
🔢 Early math
✋ Fine motor skills
🎨 Creative & hands-on learning
🤝 Social skills & routines

I’ll be using Playing Preschool as our curriculum framework and creating engaging activities around each child’s learning needs.
