Little hands, big garden moments 🌱

We’re getting our greenhouse ready and already talking about planting our cucumbers, herbs, and flowers. Watching children discover where food comes from is one of the most special parts of this program.

Yesterday we began our indoor garden at Seedlings 🌱

Our friends explored soil through sensory bags, felt the rough texture of rocks and dirt, and carefully examined tiny seeds. Our older friends practiced fine motor skills by peeling and planting garlic bulbs, while others scooped, poured, and watered as we planted cucumbers and garlic together.

This hands-on experience supported early science, language, and motor development while building patience, curiosity, and care for our growing plants. We can’t wait to move our seedlings into the greenhouse once the snow clears and continue watching our garden grow.

Today was a chilly day, so we’re sharing a look at our backyard space while we wait for warmer weather.

We can’t wait to spend more time outdoors exploring, building gross motor skills, and connecting with nature when conditions allow.
