Swinging into learning, one letter at a time!

Who says learning has to happen sitting at a table? During this fun OT activity, our friend worked on building letters with wooden pieces while lying on his belly on a swing!

This playful approach incorporates sensory processing, bilateral coordination, upper body and core strengthening, fine motor skills, and executive functioning — all while making learning fun and engaging! 💚

At Acorn Therapy Solutions®, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play!

This holiday season, we’re partnering with the North Kingstown High School Robotics Team to provide 10 FREE custom switch-adapted toys to children and families across Rhode Island!

These specially adapted toys help make play more accessible for children with varying motor abilities, encouraging independence, engagement, and FUN!

🌟 How it works:

* 10 families will receive a FREE switch-adapted toy.
* Families can select from a curated collection of toys.
* Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis!

Does your child ask to read the same book over and over again? That’s a good thing!

Rereading familiar books helps build fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, confidence, and a love for reading. Each time you revisit a favorite story, your child has another opportunity to notice new words, make connections, and become a stronger reader.
