The first two molds for the Orca are officially in the shop.

After a stretch of weather that slowed things down, the process is back on track and looking solid. A new video breaking down how these molds were made is dropping shortly. Appreciate everyone’s patience while the weather tried to run the schedule.

Stem work starts long before the fastenings go in.

Lou’s in the shop getting lumber ready for a stem replacement on his Herreshoff sailboat—picking good stock, squaring it up, and bringing it down true before it ever goes near the boat. Been really loving the Powermatic machines lately… smooth cuts, dead-flat surfaces, so quiet, and just plain fun to work on.
