Exciting announcement! Kids Night Out is back again!

What are JAG students working on over the summer? The same thing we've been working on all spring! We're building a garden that will be maintained by JAG students, and we will be donating the produce to people in the community. We've been working so hard, and we're continuing to work hard trying to get our seeds to germinate in all the dry heat. But we're already seeing success, and it's so encouraging!

If you would like to support our project, we're currently working on two things. Firstly, if you or someone you know has a lot of wood chips they would like to get rid of, we are in need of a lot of them! As in 4-5 yards. But this will help us to hold moisture so that the plants thrive with less watering over the summer. Secondly, speaking of watering, we're carrying it all from a distance. So we would like to set up a water catchment system at the site. We have ideas to move forward with, but in the event someone wants to be generous and creative, we're all ears.

We're excited to share pictures of our progress as the summer rolls on. :)

Once upon a time, Mason Caudill was a NJSP JAG member. Now, he's a Vincennes University JAG College Success college grad! Mason, who previously earned an associate's degree in Conservation Law Enforcement, earned his Bachelor's on April 29th in Homeland Security from Vincennes University 💙💛! Registration forms went out at the elementary school. Payment is at drop-off, beginning at 3:45p. Registration forms will also be available then.

Yesterday we all went to Kid's Closet and helped them with some landscaping work. We think it looks pretty good! We wonder if these new landscaping skills we've learned will come in handy on another of our upcoming projects..... ;)

As Isaiah himself says, "I have a heart of gold, like that Neil Young song. If nothing else I have a heart of gold." Believe us, he's got more than just that going for him. It will be fascinating to see where life takes him.

NJ-SP Senior Isaiah Myers enjoys playing guitar, co****le, and working at Baileys. His most memorable moments from high school are “Any conversation with Mr. Howard and Mr. Jones”. Mr. Jones, Mr. Howard and Mr. Somerville “have been the biggest inspiration for me to show up and to give my best.” After graduation, Isaiah plans further his career to playing professional co****le and working as a Flagger for PSC.

We're very proud of Kaylie and where life is taking her!

NJ-SP Senior Makaylie Wills participated in Basketball, Softball and Volleyball. One of her most favorite memories was the Pep Rallies and how everyone came together to fun. The teacher that made a difference in her academic career was Mr. Jones. "He taught me to be the best I could be and to be confident". After graduation Makaylie, plans on attending college to become a veterinarian.

Today SGT Kirchenbauer challenged us to write simple words - but in a way that required us all to cooperate and communicate clearly as a group. This was a hard one! So many takeaways.

So excited about our volleyball tournament this Thursday! Students 9-12 are welcome to play, but everyone is invited to watch!

Exciting news! Spectators are welcome! Admission is $5 per person. There will be concessions available. Competitors must be grades 9-12.
